Bettors Optimistic About Colorado Buffaloes in 2024

Bettors are starting to believe in the Colorado Buffaloes as they prepare for the college football season, which is just over two months away.

For slightly better odds, DraftKings is giving Colorado 25,000 to win it all and 3,500 to win the Big XII Championship in its first year without Texas and Oklahoma. He's currently offering -130 odds to win over 5.5, versus 110 to fall below that threshold.

Even with 42 new commitments, bettors are betting on young Sanders to have a big year. According to Fox Sports, in 2023, "the star quarterback had a 69.3% completion percentage on 3,230 yards. He threw 27 touchdowns and only three interceptions." It also notes that “at FanDuel Sportsbook, Sanders is 4000 to win the Heisman Trophy (tied for 19th) and 470 to be the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft (tied for second).” The quarterback told Complex Sports in November 2023 that he sees himself as a combination of Tom Brady and Michael Vick.
